In 2009 Mehmet Atakan Foça started journalism as a reporter for a local newspaper. After his internship in Bianet in the summer of 2011, he was the editor of the Refugee TV news site, which was conducted by Amnesty International Turkey. During the internship in BBC Turkish, London in the summer of 2013, he met with topics such as mobile journalism, digital media and the future of journalism, and headed to this field. Awarded by Transparency International. Led to translation of Verification Handbook to Turkish. He continues to investigate digital data verification techniques for journalists, data journalism, social media for journalists, and search practices.
Studied Global Politics and International Relations at METU and Binghamton University. She worked as a reporter for soL News Portal. She has attended a journalism training by Uğur Mumcu Investigative Journalism Foundation. Gülin is interested in open data and data journalism. She is currently pursuing her Master’s Degree in Urban Policy Planning and Local Governments.
Graduated from Cumhuriyet University Department of Journalism and Anadolu University Department of Philosophy. He continues his master degree in Gazi University Political Communication Department. Studying Photography and Camera at Anadolu University, Burak is interested in mythology, history and ecology. He has worked as chief editor at Gaia Dergi and content editor at Dusunbil, Libido and Godfather Mag. Burak took part in several UN projects as corporate communications specialist. Also, he create solutions in the fields of graphic design and web design.
