Introducing a way to fight misinformation in closed messaging apps

Have you ever wondered what to say to a family member or a friend unwittingly helping false information spread on Whatsapp?

Would they be offended if you tell them that?

Well, wonder no more!

Today we are releasing our fact-checking stickers on WhatsApp and Instagram.

With Teyit stickers designed by illustrator Idil Keysan, you can now warn your friends and family in a fun way when you notice they share information that is not accurate on WhatsApp.

If you are not sure about the authenticity of the information you receive, you can ask the source or whether it is fact-checked or not.

Teyit stickers are also available on Instagram Stories.

Preventing false information from spreading in closed messaging apps is one of the biggest challenges facing fact-checkers across the world.
